
Arturo Hinojos is an abstract painter who was born in 1944 in Mexico City. He concluded his studies in visual arts at the Academia de San Carlos, which belongs to the National University of Mexico (UNAM). Since then, he has participated in several collective and individual exhibitions in many galleries, both in Mexico and abroad. He has an academic background, and he is currently engaged in abstract painting in mixed media, as well as in drawings, etchings, monotypes and ceramics.
